Hi! I’m Aya, founder of Yooushi and proud mom to my little girl who inspired it all.
Yooushi was born out of my struggle to find the perfect backpack for my daughter.Most of what I found were loud, cartoon-covered ones that just didn’t match our style. And the ones that did? Crazy expensive!
So, I decided to create one that checks all the boxes—stylish, functional, and topped with a personalized touch that makes it truly special,That’s how Yooushi came to life!

How long does it take to get my backpack?
For personalized backpacks, allow 5 business days for embroidery magic (shipping time excluded).
Non-personalized backpacks ship out in 1-2 business days!
Shipping times are: Standard : 4-6 business days; Priority: 2-4 business days.
What’s the ideal age for the backpacks?
They’re perfect for ages 2–6! Older kids can totally rock them as mini backpacks too, and moms love using them as a cute mini diaper bag
What size are the backpacks?
Our backpacks measure 12" tall, 10" wide, and 5" deep—just the right size for all their little adventures!
What can I fit into the backpack?
These backpacks are just the right size for all the essentials! They can fit a lunch box, water bottle, snacks, small toys, an iPad, extra clothes, and even an A4-sized flat file—but they’re not designed for bulky binders. Moms love how perfectly everything fits!
Can I choose the personalization font and thread color?
Not at the moment, but trust us—we’ve picked the perfect font and crisp white color to make sure your little one’s name looks amazing on every backpack!
Can I see a preview of the personalized name before I order?
Absolutely! Just tick the “add personalization” checkbox on the order page, type the name in the box, and voilà—you’ll see your child's name magically appear on the backpack, so you know exactly what you’re getting before you hit that order button!
What if my personalized backpack arrives with a mistake?
Oops! If it’s our fault, we’ll fix it right away. Just let us know, and we’ll make things right!
However, if the name was entered incorrectly during checkout, we won’t be able to offer a refund or replacement. Make sure to double-check the spelling before completing your order. Accuracy matters!
Can I send a gift message with my order?
Absolutely! We’ll handwrite your message on a cute card and include it with your order. No need to worry about awkward invoices—those stay with us! Your gift will arrive ready to impress
Is the backpack machine washable?
Yep! Just toss it in the washing machine on low spin+ cold water, and it’ll come out looking as good as new— because we know toddlers + mess = inevitable
Just remember—no dryer! Let it air dry in a shady spot to keep it in top shape.
Do I have to personalize the backpack?
Not at all! You can absolutely get the backpack without personalization, The choice is totally yours!
Is there a character limit for personalization?
Yes, personalization is limited to 10 letters, including spaces. For longer names, we recommend using initials instead!
Can I use initials instead of my child's name for personalization?
Absolutely! You can personalize the backpack with initials instead of a full name.
Can I cancel/return my order?
Absolutely! You can cancel within 2 hours of placing your order, as long as we haven’t started personalizing or shipping it yet.
Returns? We’ve got you covered (mostly)!
- For non-personalized backpacks: You’ve got 14 days to return it, as long as it’s unused and still rocking its original tags. Just a heads up : a $10 shipping fee applies to returns.
- Personalized backpacks: These little custom cuties are non-returnable—unless, of course, we made an oopsie at Yooushi!
